A set of 10 different eggplants, beets and tomatoes painted in realistic watercolor, that I made thinking of children playing with them, playing with serious Art. I wanted to spark their curiosity about the real vegetables, to talk about the beauty of the diversity without saying any word, and to tell them that their childhoods are precious as they are, right now, when they are engaged in their pretend play - no need to "become" an adult to be taken seriously.
Too much for an eggplant? Maybe. 🙂 But my intention was real while I was painting them, with much love.
